I would like to start by thanking Mary for selling our 100 year old workers’ cottage home in such a short amount of time, particularly given the flat market conditions and the current climate of the economy. I had previously accepted several contracts of sale on this house over an 18 month period with other agents, however each of these contracts had fallen through for various reasons, with Mary’s being the only solid offer that resulted in a successful settlement.

After many months of frustration I listened to her views about the listing price that I had placed on the property and the price she was certain would facilitate a fast sale. In 1997 Melissa and I bought a house.

We were a young couple, not even married, who were looking to start a life together. Over the next 13 years, we took this house, and turned into our home. This home has been the silent witness of our family lives and it's walls have captured the outpouring of many emotions, including all the mixed emotions associated with becoming parents and raising our two girls.

In 2010 we sold our home and it was difficult. Not in the sense of the transaction or process, but in the fact we were contemplating leaving the place that harboured for us so many memories. It's with this in mind that I must commend Property Palace and specifically Robbie for the way in which he went about selling our home. He understood our history and emotional investment in the property (not just the financial). He kept us informed of the process and at all times went about this difficult process with our best interests in mind. He also got us a damn good price! I am in the business of providing professional services and I recognise and thank Robbie for the professional way in which he went about selling our home.

With our home sold, we now had to find a new one. A more difficult task than the first.

We acknowledge to that to have a happy home, you don't need the trappings of opulence. Any place can be home as long as you are comfortable and secure. However, there were certain things we were looking for, specific things, that may not have meant much to an agent but meant something to us.

We looked through many houses with many different real estate agents. I think we are worse off for the experience. As professional you also know when others are acting unprofessionally.

However, once again, it was Property Palace, specifically Mary and Gillian who found our home. Both Mary and Gillian went above and beyond, to listen to our concerns, find us a house and help negotiate an excellant outcome. We feel that we have found our new home, and we do not believe we could have done this without Mary and Gillian.

Melissa and I will thank Robbie, Gillian and Mary personally (over a suitably aged red and bottle of bubbles) but we wanted to thank you Suzy and to let you know that you have a great team.

Both Tina & I found Sonia & Mary easy to work with. They went out of their way to assist us in the whole process, which is very important to us as clients. They were very friendly, displayed a discerning manner and were very professional at all times.

We found that a number of agents in the area were quite negative, told us that we couldn’t afford this property or that one, some of them weren’t even prepared to show us any properties but instead gave us a list to go and look at ourselves. We really appreciated the time that Sonia took to drive us around when we had only just walked in the door – here was someone that was willing to actually drive us to view some properties in their own car!! It was almost like no other agent had wanted to do this, as if we were encroaching on their time.

From what we could see, THE PROPERTY PALACE treated every person as a potential client, were non-judgemental and throughout the whole process we felt very comfortable with their genuine down to earth manner.

We were told what to do to get into the market, were reassured about our position, and shown how to look at our investment in a different light. Most people don’t like to take responsibility telling others that what they’re doing is right – this wasn’t the case here at all.
